They may also serve as lobbies for funding. The reliability of information provided by advocacy groups cannot be guaranteed, but in general they are helpful and accurate.

NCCS provides publications, answers to questions about employment rights, and assistance locating legal resources.

Cancer Care, Inc. provides assistance by oncology social workers, including answers to questions about employment, insurance, and finances. It also provides help in locating local resources.

Breast Cancer Action is a grassroots education and advocacy organization committed to ending the breast cancer epidemic.
